In Sanken Industry, processors themselves produce simple jigs and edged tools on the spot and use them. This is one of the skills that all of our technical staff have. With this technical capability, we determine the minimum requirements for customers, satisfy the requirements, and make an arrangement. We produce jigs with specifications that meet the minimum requirements based on the consideration of shapes, number of pieces and delivery date.

Special edged tools are produced on the spot according to the drawings (shapes and conditions). Even for processing of complex shapes, we find the best method through verification from various angles.

Our lathe technique handles metal, resin and any other materials. Our surface treatment includes heat treatment, alumite, plating, and coating. We can handle processing of products in small or large diameter, simple shaft processing by bench lathe, complex multi-face processing, products in other process, and any shapes. We have received orders from customers in a wide range of areas and have produced good results. Our machining technique and NC lathe technique assures wide variety of lathe technique beyond the boundary of product categories.

We have been engaged in molding and processing of metal and resin at Katsushika-ku of Tokyo since our establishment in 1977. Together with our ｒapid prototyping and cast molding, our techniques have been highly evaluated as a production method of mechanical and exterior components. In particular, since we are frequently requested to apply optical molding to parts of precision mechanics, we are attaining experience of utilization to prototype production.

Although cast molding is inferior to cutting in terms of precision, a certain degree of size and precision can be obtained. By considering your request of quality level, cost and delivery date, etc., our experienced technical staff make proposal on whether master production of cutting cast molding is done by optical molding or cutting.

Since its establishment in 1977, originator of Shisakuya, "Sanken Industry" in Katsushika-ku of Tokyo has been received requests of prototype production by customers from a wide range of areas. With our techniques cultivated and refined through these experiences, we have developed our own special processing, that is spiral (screw) and transparency processing. We provide a wide variety of ideas unique to us as a prototype production company beyond the category boundary.

Spiral (screw) processing includes processing of various shapes, and we boast of extensive experiences. We propose the most suitable processing method in response to your request on shapes, number of pieces, delivery date, budget, etc. Although our spiral (screw) processing has requirements as shown below, we may handle other requests depending on conditions you present. Approx. 4 to 40mm in diameter Long products of 1,000mm in length or more can be handled. Material: all types of resin, some metals (brass, aluminum) We can process 50 pieces a day. We can process screws with partial gradual change.

We can deliver transparency level of resin processing that fits your purpose. Some products require completely clear transparency, and other products require transparency only to see mechanical parts of prototypes. Do you produce prototypes requested from outside of Japan?

Of course, we do. We are looking forward to have a request from anywhere in the world. After fully understanding the detail of request, we will propose as much service as we can do. Please feel free to contact us.

How long does it take to complete prototypes after inquiry?

Usually, it takes about 10 days. International transportation and custom clearance, which may vary depending on the content of request. We would be grateful if you individually make inquiry for details since the period varies according to detailed specifications and quantities of order.

This is a bet-the-company product, so I do not want you to leak the information. What measures do you take to observe confidentiality?

You can rest assured that we conclude non-disclosure agreement with each customer. In addition, we strictly observe confidentiality under our company rule for customers with whom agreement is not concluded.

I am thinking about requesting mass production of products in addition to trial production. Can you handle it?

Yes, we would gladly accept it. When you are satisfied with our prototypes, we will make arrangement of mass production. However, in some cases of too large quantities or for some shapes, we cannot respond to your request of mass production. Please individually inquire about details.

I do not understand types of processing, so I do not know how to place order.

We would like to know the detail first, so please contact us from the inquiry page. We provide service in which you can request design from a rough image, a rough sketch, or a cartoon. Please feel free to contact us.

If I am not satisfied with produced prototypes, can I ask production again?

We will promptly produce another prototype in the case of difference from the drawing.

I would like to obtain several patterns of prototypes. Can you handle my request?

Yes, we can. Please let us know the detailed conditions when you make inquiry. The more we have detailed information, the more we can propose quotation in detail.

Do you handle materials other than metal and resin?

We can produce a mock-up from wood.

We provide better service and high-quality service by the establishment of a rigid management structure. This page introduces cooperation across our areas of inspection, sales activities and techniques, as well as activities and establishment of systems to maintain service quality.

Sanken Industry ensures information sharing and documentation of procedures so that the same inspection as the head office factory is implemented at Atsugi Factory which was built in 2005. With regard to each request of our customers, in our internal network environment, information obtained in meetings with our customers and other data including drawings, CAD data, NC data, etc. necessary for inspection are stored in the database and shared. By adding new information obtained on site and from inspection to the data and updating the data as needed, our inspectors can always use the latest data.

By storing order information in the database and establishing work procedures in this way, inspection at any factory produces the same results. In general, undertaken three inspections including the final inspection, products are delivered to customers. Every data is unified on the network ensuring effective sharing and utilization as a tool for sales activities.

CNC Measuring Instrument

Our CNC inspection measuring instrument is a 3D measuring machine equipped with a highly sensitive CCD camera enabling measurement of parts with 3D structures. Further highly accurate measurement is assured even for a parts of several millimeters in size. The main characteristic of this instrument is non-contact measurement of soft materials such as rubber and elastomer, or the shape of small objects whose measurement is difficult with ordinary 3D measuring machine.

XM Series Handy Probe Measuring Device (CMM)

Although this is a simple 3D measuring machine, the work speed is greatly different compared to the frequent use of general-purpose inspection instruments. The use of this machine achieves work by a fewer number of staff. It also serves as an easy-to-use 3D measuring machine.

Sanken's Quality Control Department has an important role to guarantee the quality to our the customer.
The three-dimensional measuring machine is our heart of the facilities to building trust. It becomes the standard facilities in the industry handling a precision part. The size of a measurable table is 850*600*600

We manage all data obtained after receiving request from customers by our server. We utilize the data for uniform delivery of our service, as well as in inspection and other technical aspects. Highly effectively distributing information and introducing automation to a maximum extent is the base of high mobility in various areas other than technical aspects.

We consolidate the management of data on customers' requests and update (accumulate, delete or manage) the data by each category of sales activities, technique and clerical work on a real-time basis. After the completion of work, with consideration of security and confidentiality, the information is stored by our server managed by Radix. We use the information to deliver service to our customers who are the owner of the information.

Sanken has an unique organizational arrangement that influence to improve products qualities with having real time direct communication between our sales team and inspection team.
For improving communication of intradepartmental barriers, Sanken's sales director is also appointed as a member of the management team of the Quality Control Departments.

By this arrangement, it realizes the voice of our customer not to mention sales department to reach Quality Control Department directly.
Consequently the change of the manufacturing method can be done speedily and dynamically on the production site.

Our engineering department is separately located in the head office factory and Atsugi factory. The factories and business offices are under the close mutual cooperation system, not individually developing operation. Specifically, all staff participate in regular "technical meetings" held every month by using the Polycom's video conference system as a communication tool.

In addition, the head office also held meetings to review NC data. In this way, sharing all information including details difficult to convey by phone and email has successfully reduced unintentional misunderstanding within the company in a dramatic way. Active communication made even in remote locations has led to strengthened trust relationship of the entire staff.

Sanken Industry are strengthening the tie between sales staff and technical staff through the communication system and the information sharing system, and technical staff themselves who produce products are able to timely respond to customers in a technological aspects (limited to customers whose request can be handled). We deliver uniformed service, and at the same time provide higher-quality service to customers.
